Let me ask you a question. ARE YOU HAPPY DOING WHAT YOU DO for living? It’s such a simple, fundamental question… Usually when I ask a new client this question, most at first say “sure”. If, however, I invite them to look deeper within, many admit they’re no longer really satisfied. I “coach” (don’t really like the word… maybe guide?) many who hold senior level positions within organizations, often their own. They’ve outgrown their titles, their salaries, their responsibilities, their public personas. How about you? Do you still identify with your job and your social roles or are you pretending?
The reason why many hold on to their exterior life is the status quo. Some time back we were brainwashed that it’s cool and respected. So, we made it a goal, yet IT”S NOT THE END. It seemed like a MEANS to the end. But THE END IS HAPPINESS AND FREEDOM, always! And you are not there. Perhaps your “means” have enslaved you.
Who am I now? What matters? What is my “end”? What are the “means”? Is price I’m paying for choices I make worth it?
So, be honest. Forget the image of yourself, focus on your Self, your authentic being. What does IT want? Not what your conditioned and fearful mind wants. What is your true longing? ARE YOU FREE? That’s the question… Are you?
Today I am wishing to you, my friend, freedom from the status quo. I wish you to remember yourself outside of the society and its restraints. I wish you to be kind to yourself, compassionate and free… ALWAYS…
