Relationships shouldn’t be so hard. In fact, there should be a short clear way to learn all the basics because life’s all about relationships and it’s only fair we have a way to do them “right”.
I used to ask seemingly happy couples in their 80’s to tell me the secret of their happy relationship. A much more than coincidental number of times the answer I’d coax out of, usually the wife, was, “We’re just nice to each other.” And that might have been enough when they started out on the relationship road but it no longer serves to guide us through a culture where divorce, addictions, porn, strain, distraction and insecurity are so common.
